Marketing & Design Specialist We're looking for a Marketing & Design Specialist to bring our brand to life across digital and print experiences. This role will support visual design for our website, while also supporting internal teams with high-quality forms, PDFs, intranet and SharePoint updates, presentations, marketing flyers, and promotional materials. This person is strategic and hands-on, crafting compelling content and designs to create a seamless member experience. Compensation: Candidates in Southern CA and Southern NV are welcome to apply. The posted salary range applies to California; Nevada-specific ranges are available upon request. Remote Work: This role may transition to a hybrid schedule after training and demonstrated independence. We'll work with you to develop a flexible arrangement that supports productivity and work-life balance. What You'll Do: Website & Digital Support. Own routine website updates, ensuring content and formatting accuracy, ADA compliance, and alignment with brand identity. Partner with website vendors to recommend enhancements to user experience, improve on-site engagement, and drive conversions through innovative features and optimizations. Monitor and analyze website traffic and trends to optimize website performance. Graphic Design & Brand Support. Develop creative and copy for print and digital collateral including videos, member forms, web applications, brochures, flyers, posters, email graphics, event signage, and slide presentations. Support internal teams by developing monthly member mailings, updating rates and disclosures on website, and fulfilling requests for marketing collateral. Maintain brand guidelines to ensure cohesive visual identity across the organization. Project Management. Manage incoming design requests and maintain project timelines utilizing project management tools. What We're Looking For Experience: 3+ years in professional graphic design (in-house or agency). Strong portfolio with web/UI layout work. Knowledge of print production and digital publishing. Understanding of UX principles. Experience with credit unions/financial services/nonprofits a plus. Motion graphics, video editing, or illustration a plus. Education: Bachelor's in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related field preferred. Associate degree or equivalent experience considered with a strong portfolio. Skills: Strong communication, time management, and client support. Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere). Experience with Figma/Adobe XD, WordPress, and basic HTML/CSS a plus. Ability to translate complex information into clear, member-friendly visuals. Creative thinker Detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to manage multiple projects. In accordance with California's Pay Transparency Act, the expected hourly pay range for this role at Rize Federal Credit Union is $30.00-$41.00. Actual compensation is determined by experience, education, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors. As part of the hiring process, candidates who receive a contingent offer will undergo a background investigation, which may include employment verification, credit review, criminal records search, Social Security verification, and government registry checks.
