DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Stock Clerk 3, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and supply process for various items, including clothing, equipment, office supplies, and automotive supplies. This role also requires maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring replenishment needs, and recording reimbursements. Strong organizational skills and effective communication are necessary to effectively manage inventory controls, process requisitions, and secure bids for purchase contracts. In addition, you will also be responsible for loading and unloading supplies, disposing of unserviceable uniforms and equipment, and providing inventory information for budget projections.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Three years of experience in stores control work, including one year of experience with responsibility for the operation of a small storeroom; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a high school or vocational school; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
  • You must possess a current driver's license which is not under suspension.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirement:

  • You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
