We are seeking a Research Project Manager to join our teamon the National Energy Technology (NETL) Research Support Services (RSS) Contract. This work will involve managing the efforts of a multi-disciplinary, scientific, and technically oriented national laboratory team that produces technological solutions for America's energy challenges. From developing creative innovations and efficient energy systems, to advancing technologies that enhance oil and natural gas extraction and transmission processes, NETL research is providing breakthroughs and discoveries that support home-grown energy initiatives, stimulate a growing economy, and improve the health, safety, and security of all Americans. This position will work onsite at the NETL campus in Pittsburgh approximately 50% of the time. Teleworking is possible up to 50%. As a core member of the Management Team, you will play a valuable part in supporting and executing a wide range of projects with a portfolio value of ~ $3-5M/year. You will be responsible for all facets of Scope, Schedule and Budget, people and customers for assigned projects utilizing sound Leidos Program Execution guidelines and procedures. In addition, you will leverage your management and leadership experience to support program wide process improvement, personnel development, operational excellence and strategic planning initiatives.
