Southcoast Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Position reports to the Manager, Interpreter Services, or designee. Provide coverage on-site for Interpreter Services as requested. Provide accurate consecutive verbal interpretation . Develop a rhythm of interpretation to enhance the flow of communication between parties. Maintain accurate and timely digital documentation of encounters. Associate degree or equivalent knowledge and experience in a related field is required. Training in medical terminology. Interpersonal skills appropriate for handling sensitive patient and/or employee issues. Fluency in four (4) languages required, including English and three (3) assigned languages. One (1) year related experience preferred. Certificate of completion of a 60-hour Medical Interpreter Training program. Certificate of completion of a 60-hour Medical Interpreter Training program. Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
