| Job Summary |
The Assistant Provost for Teaching and Learning Spaces provides operational oversight for the university's critical academic support facilities. This position manages the daily operations, security, and staffing of the University Testing Center and leads the Audio/Video team responsible for supporting, managing, and updating learning spaces. This role ensures that physical environments for teaching, learning, and assessment are accessible, secure, and state-of-the-art.

- Master's Degree or equivalent experience in media management/assessment; 5+ years of leadership in academic support services.

| Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Testing Center Management: Oversee daily operations of the testing center, ensuring a secure and accessible testing environment. Enforce academic integrity policies and manage professional certification exam protocols. Audio/Video Leadership: Lead the A/V team to provide technological support for classrooms and campus events and maintain the infrastructure of audiovisual systems throughout campus to enhance classroom teaching, student learning, and events. Accessibility & Compliance: Ensure all A/V content and testing environments meet ADA compliance standards (e.g., captioning, physical accommodations). Staff Supervision: Supervise testing center proctors, managers, and A/V technical staff. Support for Budget and Procurement: Provide support for departmental budget and procurement processes for hardware, software licensing for assessment, and classroom technology maintenance.
Skills Required:
The Assistant Provost must successfully demonstrate the following:
- Experience, or demonstrated ability, overseeing a testing or assessment center
- Experience or knowledge of A/V production workflows
- Familiarity with secure test administration tools and ADA guidelines
- Staff supervision and team development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills
- Adaptability and innovation
