Position Summary


The Multi-Site Maintenance Leader will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive maintenance strategy across five aerospace manufacturing sites: Phoenix, San Diego, San Antonio, Carson City (NV), and Mexicali.



This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of manufacturing equipment and facilities. The leader will drive standardization of maintenance practices, optimize costs, and support operational excellence across all locations.



Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute a multi-site maintenance strategy aligned with production, safety, and quality objectives.
  • Standardize preventive and predictive maintenance programs (PMs) across all locations to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventories, and vendor relationships to optimize cost and efficiency.
  • Oversee maintenance performance across Phoenix, San Diego, San Antonio, Carson City (NV), and Mexicali sites.
  • Coach and mentor maintenance leaders and supervisors to build a high-performing, collaborative culture.
  • Lead capital projects, equipment modernization initiatives, and facility upgrades across all sites.
  • Drive safety leadership and continuous improvement through Lean, TPM, and 5S practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all permitting and regulatory requirements at each site.
  • Maintain flexibility for heavy travel between sites as needed to support business priorities.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)



  • Equipment uptime: >90%
  • Preventive maintenance completion: >95% on time
  • Maintenance cost as a percentage of Replacement Asset Value (RAV)
  • Zero recordable safety incidents
  • Capital project delivery: On schedule and within budget
  • Achievement of cross-site maintenance standardization milestones



Qualifications



  • 10+ years of experience in aerospace, aviation MRO, or precision manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-site maintenance or reliability teams.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC equipment, coating/furnace systems, and aerospace special processes.
  • Expertise in reliability engineering and continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean, TPM, and Six Sigma.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable field preferred but not required.
