Job Description

Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineering Lead manages a team responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing process, including equipment, and systems. Provides effective and timely engineering support to Operations to achieve daily operational excellence, safety, process control and reliability. Undertakes and is responsible for process monitoring, audits, investigations trials and troubleshooting.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with all functional groups within the business to effectively implement projects
  • Direct Quality Control (Process) audits and manage improvement solutions
  • Communicate to Senior Management outputs of regular audits and ongoing process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure optimization and improvement of equipment and processes for long term robustness and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and lead repair of process equipment and systems as required
  • Oversee conceptual analysis of new projects while implementing engineering standards and best practices
  • Educates and aligns employees to the principles, practices, and philosophies of continuous improvement
  • Provides leadership and problem-solving expertise to effectively work with and influence teams of functional representatives

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field.
  • Five years of working in a manufacturing environment is preferred, with exposure in both Operations and Process Engineering
  • Strong ability to work with all levels of manufacturing floor.
