DESCRIPTION

Under the general supervision of the Neurophysiology Supervisor/Manager and guidance of the Medical Directors, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating and scheduling outpatient Neurophysiology procedures, including EMG and EEG studies. Responsible and accountable for key activities associated with the Neurophysiology scheduling systems. Serves as a liaison for external and internal clinical contacts. Operates a multi-line phone system and provides excellent customer service to patients and clinical staff. Responsible for screening patients over the phone. and performing other related functions as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Three (3) years of related scheduling experience in a large, complex hospital setting.

  • Medical terminology training and/or certificate.

  • Must be customer service and detail oriented.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to work effectively and equitably in a team environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with EPIC system.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English).
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • Occasional weekend/holiday and overtime coverage.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $57,399 - $71,347 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $27.49 - $34.17

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
