A&P Mechanic

STS Technical Services is hiring A&P Mechanics in Addison, Texas. This role is built for experienced General Aviation technicians who know piston powered aircraft inside and out and take pride in delivering safe, precise, and compliant maintenance work. The A&P Mechanic is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards. You will troubleshoot, repair, and inspect General Aviation aircraft while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed by the Lead Mechanic
  
• Comply with all company rules and regulations regarding industrial safety
  
• Complete assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with procedures established by the Lead Mechanic and relevant manuals
  
• Maintain equipment, tools, and the workplace in a clean and organized fashion
  
• Perform all job functions with the highest levels of safety, quality, and efficiency
  

• Minimum of five years of experience with piston powered General Aviation aircraft
  
• Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
  
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts, and schematics
  
• Proficiency using computerized aircraft maintenance programs and manuals
  
• Quantum MX proficiency is a plus
  
• Capable of performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting
  
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  
• Must be a team player
  
• Must possess personal tools and reliable transportation
  
• Ability to work independently while adhering to company policies
  

• Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate required
  
• Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred but not required
