Job Description

The HRBP role functions as a trusted advisor and business partner to an assigned organizational unit(s). This position requires the ability to use creativity, strategic thinking, collaboration, and analysis to resolve complex business and HR challenges.

Key areas of responsibility include talent development, performance management, talent acquisition, employee relations, organizational development, compensation as well as serving as a champion of employee engagement. In collaboration and partnership with assigned business leader(s), ensure the delivery of HR Services that are aligned with overall business and organizational HR strategy for assigned organizational unit(s).

The HRBP is a consultant to management on various aspects of HR, including talent acquisition and talent management, organizational development, employee relations, leadership coaching and partners with our Centers of Excellence to deliver and implement solutions in the areas of Organizational Change, Leadership Development, Payroll, Benefits, etc.

The HRBP should proactively assess and diagnose organizational issues in partnership with Management. Making recommendations and implementing solutions to attract, motivate, develop, and retain employees will be crucial for success.

Additionally, the HRBP will ensure implementation, on-time delivery, and high quality on all HR deliverables and projects. Continuously improve processes and policies to support changing business goals and objectives and assure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies.

  • You can serve as an advisor to client groups on HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
  • You can assess HR needs, research solutions, and develops creative, practical recommendations to support employees and business priorities
  • You can act as a resource on HR processes including performance management, employees engagement, talent aquisition, onboarding, and policy interpretation.
  • You can interface with employees at all levels, cross-functional teams, corporate HR partners, and external agencies to ensure smooth coordination and delivery of HR services
  • You can provide balanced, solutions-focused advice to managers that supports both employee well-being and overall business objectives
  • You can provide coaching and support to managers on a range of people-related matters, including performance conversations, policy interpretation and violations, leadership development, succession planning, and career pathing
  • You can support the talent acquisition process by partnering with recruiters and leaders to discuss job needs, candidate profiles, and hiring decisions
  • You can assist in employee relations matters by conducting investigations, documenting findings, and supporting responses related to discrimination claims, unemployment, ADA, FMLA, and other compliance topics.
  • You can support documentation, case tracking, and follow-up on employee concerns, policy questions, and coaching conversations
  • You can assist with change management activities, HR initiatives, and rollout of new programs
  • You can prepare and co-facilitate training sessions in response to organizational needs and required compliance programs
  • You can collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence on projects related to benefits, payroll, compensation, learning, and organizational development
  • You can ensure timely completion and high quality of HR deliverables and cyclical activities
  • You can maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • You can recommend process improvements to better support employees and leaders
  • You can participate in special projects such as engagement activities, employee events, compliance reports, community initiatives, and process improvement efforts

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • 2 - 5 years' experience, ideally in a dynamic or fast-paced environment; experience in HR coordination, HR generalist work, or employee relations support is a plus.
  • Flexibility to support various shifts or schedules depending on business needs.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Basic understanding of employment laws and HR compliance requirements; eagerness to continue learning.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems (SuccessFactors, SAP, UKG/Kronos, etc.) and intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, team-based environment.
