An industry-leading medical technology innovator is seeking a motivated Associate Product Development Engineer to support the development of life-changing products used around the world. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent engineering graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in product development, testing, and manufacturing within a highly regulated, innovation-driven environment.

Hours & Pay

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: Up to $36 per hour

Employment Type: Long-term contract (approximately 1 year)

Location: Maple Grove, MN

What You'll Work On Each Day

• Support product and process development activities by drafting specifications, maintaining documentation, and testing materials, equipment, and finished products
• Assist with developing concepts, designs, and test methods for new or modified products and processes
• Design, source, and assemble simple tooling and fixtures
• Plan, coordinate, and execute basic engineering tests and experiments
• Follow established Product Development and Technical Development processes
• Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation to communicate test results and findings
• Train technicians and operators on new equipment, processes, and testing procedures
• Identify improvement opportunities and submit ideas that support continuous improvement initiatives
• Integrate quality standards into all work while maintaining compliance with applicable quality systems

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or a related engineering discipline
• 0-1 year of professional engineering experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Manufacturing exposure preferred
• Ability to analyze data using analytical tools
• Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced development environment
