Together, we power the future of finance - and this BNY Pershing is seeking a dynamic Senior Vice President of Demand Generation to lead our demand generation strategy, execution, and overall new business development efforts. This role is in New York City and is a HYBRID position.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Demand Generation Strategy Leadership: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive demand generation strategies that align with Pershing's new business objectives and market dynamics within the financial services industry. Define target audience segments, buyer personas, and go-to-market strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion across all marketing channels.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, product management, marketing, and executive leadership, to align demand generation efforts with business priorities and objectives. Serve as a strategic advisor on demand generation matters, driving consensus and buy-in across the organization.
- Lead Generation and Acquisition: Drive the development of integrated marketing campaigns and programs to generate qualified leads and drive new business acquisition. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop lead generation targets, track performance metrics, and optimize campaign effectiveness to meet new business growth goals.
- Content Strategy and Development: Develop and execute content marketing strategies that support demand generation initiatives and drive engagement throughout the buyer's journey. Drive the creation of high-quality, relevant content assets, including whitepapers, eBooks, webinars, and case studies, to attract, educate, and convert target prospects into qualified leads.
- Digital Marketing and Advertising: Develop and execute digital marketing and advertising campaigns across multiple channels, including search, social media, display, and email, to drive new business leads and conversions. Optimize campaign targeting, messaging, and creative to maximize ROI and drive cost-effective lead acquisition.
- Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Develop and implement account-based marketing strategies and programs to target key accounts and high-value prospects. Collaborate with sales teams to identify target accounts, personalize marketing messages and content, and coordinate integrated marketing campaigns to drive engagement and conversion within target accounts.
- Marketing Analytics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track demand generation performance, campaign effectiveness, and new business growth. Utilize marketing analytics and reporting tools to analyze data, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing strategy and drive continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field; master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in demand generation, with a strong track record of success in driving new business growth within the financial services industry.
- Expertise in developing and executing comprehensive demand generation strategies, including lead generation, marketing automation, and digital marketing.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Deep understanding of marketing principles, customer insights, and emerging trends in demand generation within financial services.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and excellence in demand generation strategy and execution.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $122,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
