Baker College is seeking an Adjunct Faculty person to teach College Algebra for our Running Start Program at Lapeer Community Schools STEM program. Our Running Start program is tailored for students who are eager to get a "running start" on their college and career goals. Join the dedicated team at Baker College to support our high school students!


The Running Start class will be held at the Lapeer Tech Center one day a week during regular school hours with a specific time to be determined in coordination with the HS schedule


A doctoral degree in mathematics, engineering, physics, or statistics is preferred. Candidates must hold either a master's degree in mathematics or an acceptable subfield; or a master's degree in any field that includes at least 18 graduate semester hours of mathematics content, which may include out-of-field courses with substantial mathematical components; or a master's degree in education accompanied by secondary teaching certification (grades 6-12) in mathematics. Acceptable subfields include applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, and physics.
