To oversee, direct and lead the production staff on 2nd shift to achieve production targets while maintaining a safe and efficient operation and producing products to meet AHEAD's established quality standards. Please note our 2nd shift hours are 3:00pm-12:00am CST Monday through Friday.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead the production team during 2nd shift operations, ensuring that safety, quality, and production targets are met.
  • Oversee all immediate departmental activities and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws.
  • Work conjointly with other manufacturing supervisor(s) and provide assistance throughout the manufacturing department
  • Effectively drive continuous and quality related improvements.
  • Actively engage in project management responsibilities and support a wide range of production group projects.
  • Resolve employee issues, ensure positive employee relations and promote and enforce all company policies fairly and consistently.
  • Analyze and solve problems or assist other team members in finding solutions.
  • Reviews production schedules, material and manpower resources and coordinate daily production activities in order to meet business objectives.
  • Informs assigned employees of production and material problems and coordinates with support groups to resolve problems affecting schedules.
  • Responsible for achievement of department goals and standards.
  • Develops and maintains positive peer and leadership relationship.
  • Direct efforts toward the reduction of process variation while ensuring that manufactured products meet quality requirements.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent or 3-5 years in an assembly manufacturing environment.
  • 1 - 2 years' experience in a supervisor role preferred.
  • Ability to manage, train and develop employees.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts, meet deadlines, manage production activities and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience making day to day decisions that affect the overall quality of products and processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings ("OTE") for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
