Description
Steelcase has an immediate opening for an IT SAP Sales & Distribution Analyst along with Team Leader responsibilities for the AMQ IT Team. This person will be a Steelcase employee who is responsible for leading the IT team dedicated to the AMQ organization.
The AMQ IT team is geographically diverse with team members located Grand Rapids and Monterrey, Mexico. You will partner with Steelcase IT leadership and AMQ business stakeholders to drive project work and process improvements across AMQ's application and infrastructure landscape.

This role is responsible for both the day-to-day support and the product leadership for AMQ's information technology solution. These duties will include coaching team members and working with corporate peers in IT and the business on work prioritization and execution against business strategy. The responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive and may change as determined by the needs of AMQ.
  • Performs the role of Agile Product Leader for the AMQ IT Team.
  • Removes obstacles that impact team and sprint goals.
  • Manages team resources and assignments along with the Agile Delivery Leader.
  • Partners with the business to identify improvement opportunities and coordinates solutions that represent the best value for AMQ and for Steelcase.
  • Partners with other IT leaders to learn and share best practices.
  • Actively advocates for the team and supports users and their requests.
  • Educates and trains employees on applications and business processes.
  • Responsible for vendor relationships including procurement and enforcing service level agreements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of business analyst experience with SAP ERP preferred, particularly in SD module
  • 5+ years of prior experience within an information technology organization
  • Leadership experience - such as in project management or product ownership
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Ability to lead individuals through establishing priorities and providing feedback.
  • Experience with Sales Order and Distribution processing in the SAP environment, especially in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to learn and navigate business processes in a globally integrated enterprise.
  • Ability to work with vendors and other service providers in problem resolution or escalation.
  • Ability to interact with individuals at all levels globally with diverse cultures.
  • Able to present and propose concepts and ideas clearly and logically.
  • Able to teach and train end users in a 1:1 or classroom setting.
  • May be required to provide reporting on metrics, trends, performance, or customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to lead small to medium sized projects by following general agile methodology.
  • Must have strong analytical, reporting, and decision-making skills.

The annual base salary range for this position is $103,000 - $129,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Steelcase considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
