THE ROLE
Our site in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

Position Summary:

  • The New Product Development group is looking for a motivated and team-oriented individual to join our dynamic and collaborative group focused on product development for our reticle handling products as an engineering co-op.

  • The core purpose of this role is to support the engineering team with improving manufacturability and measurability of our products, minor design work, researching new technologies, etc.

  • This position reports to the Engineering Manager and receives work instruction from all engineers within the group

What You'll Do

  • Performing engineering experiments, documenting, analyzing, and reporting results

  • Assembling/designing test/manufacturing fixtures

  • Participating in brainstorming meetings and contributing ideas

  • Researching new technologies

What We Seek:

  • Hands-on

  • Attention to detail, good record keeper,

  • Self-starter, takes on additional tasks w/o direction, and completes tasks with minimum supervision once trained

  • Good writing and presentation skills

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Efficient use of time

  • Experience with MS Office

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year

  • Engineering major (mechanical, manufacturing, electrical, industrial) graduating in Spring 2026 or later.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to operate power tools

  • Ability to operate microscopes

Compensation: $25-$30/per hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
