Job Purpose Our team is responsible for the development of the long-term capital investment plans for the New England Electric Business aligned with the operational needs, regulatory priorities, and performance commitments of the company. What You'll Do Develop a comprehensive 10-year strategic business plan and a 5-year capital budget for the electric distribution sector. Provide leadership and support for essential regulatory submissions. Create and implement best-in-class reporting methodologies to enhance effectiveness. Offer strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders regarding capital portfolio performance and investment strategies. Design and execute innovative collaboration strategies with stakeholders to foster engagement and alignment. Promote continuous improvement in capital planning processes to boost efficiency and achieve excellence in performance. Manage the optimization of the capital portfolio through the use of a digital capital planning tool (Copperleaf), ensuring the selection of value-maximizing projects based on standardized prioritization criteria. About You Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance required and Master's degree preferred. 15+ years of financial budgeting and analysis experience required. Utility experience required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required. Experience with advanced reporting tools such as PowerPlan and SAP. Copperleaf experience preferred. Valid driver's license required. More Information Salary $150-000 - $185,000 a year National Grid utilizes an assessment that evaluates the job qualifications/characteristics using AI or statistically based scoring.
