Pay and Schedule



  • Projected Hourly Pay Rate: $36.66
  • Work Schedule: Hybrid schedule with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote




What You'll Do



  • Deliver Manufacturing Delivery Quality Operating System requirements for assigned vehicle subsystems, such as electrical, powertrain, suspension, exterior, or interior
  • Collaborate with product development teams to estimate facility and tooling costs, improve manufacturing quality, and reduce labor content
  • Use virtual manufacturing tools to assess design feasibility for high-volume assembly operations
  • Create, update, and maintain process sheets, cycle line layouts, and assembly documentation
  • Lead identification, resolution, and closure of feasibility issues and launch constraints
  • Develop and manage master schedules for tooling design, build, and implementation
  • Lead tooling installation, startup, commissioning, and vendor support activities
  • Drive resolution of launch-related product and tooling issues to ensure on-time readiness
  • Capture lessons learned from new model launches and implement preventive actions for future programs
  • Support safety, quality, delivery, cost, people, morale, environment, and innovation initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally with product development, supplier technical support, logistics, and new model program teams

What You'll Bring



  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing engineering
  • 2+ years of experience with automotive assembly tooling, processes, and facilities
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, error proofing, and quality-focused production systems


Preferred Qualifications



  • Strong project management and results-driven mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools
  • Experience reviewing 3D CAD models using platforms such as Teamcenter, CATIA, or equivalent
  • Understanding of PFMEA and failure mode avoidance principles
  • Familiarity with automotive manufacturing systems and software
  • Hands-on experience supporting interior, exterior, chassis, powertrain, electrical, or end-of-line systems
