What You Can Expect

TheVice President Corporate Developmentwill report directly to theExecutive Vice President Corporate Developmentand serve as a senior executive leading Marvell's global M&A, strategic investment, partnership, and joint-venture activities.

This individual will define and drive the company's inorganic growth strategy with a primary focus on data-center infrastructure, AI compute, networking, storage, and advanced interconnect technologies. The VP will partner closely with executive leadership, business units, and engineering leadership to shape strategy, evaluate critical technology gaps, and execute high-impact transactions that strengthen Marvell's competitive position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior strategic leader shaping Marvell's long-term inorganic growth strategy with a focus on data-center and AI infrastructure markets.

  • Build, oversee, and continuously refine a global pipeline of high-value opportunities, including acquisitions, strategic investments, and ecosystem partnerships.

  • Lead end-to-end deal execution for major transactions: strategic rationale, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, negotiations, and closing.

  • Partner with engineering and business unit executives to identify technology adjacencies, assess build-vs-buy-vs-partner alternatives, and establish actionable recommendations for the C-suite and Board.

  • Oversee development of financial models, synergy estimates, integration plans, and investment theses for complex technology transactions.

  • Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team and business units to ensure alignment across strategy, finance, technology, and operations.

  • Present opportunities, recommendations, and post-acquisition results to the CEO, executive staff, and Board of Directors.

  • Represent Marvell in strategic external engagements with target companies, VCs, investment banks, ecosystem partners, and industry leaders.

This role ison-site only, based at one of Marvell's California offices:

  • Santa Clara, CA (Silicon Valley HQ)

  • Irvine, CA (Orange County)

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field;MBA preferred.

  • 15-20+ yearsof relevant experience, including significant leadership roles incorporate development, M&A, strategy, investment banking, or private equity, with deep exposure to semiconductors or data-center infrastructure.

  • Proven track record of owning and closing complex, high-value transactions.

  • Deep understanding of semiconductor technology, cloud and AI infrastructure, networking, compute architectures, and related market dynamics.

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and the ability to connect technology trends to long-term corporate growth priorities.

  • Strong negotiation skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence at the highest levels internally and externally.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams and manage multiple, parallel workstreams in a complex global organization.

  • Experience sourcing and managing venture investments and implementing strategic partnerships with emerging technology companies.

  • Domain expertise in finance, accounting, legal and other relevant areas, including financial analysis, valuation, market analysis, deal structuring, licensing and regulatory frameworks.
