Your Tasks

As Data & Analytics Manager, you will provide thought leadership to strategize and evolve current Media reporting structures. Oversee critical analysis, strategic support, and reporting of media plans and budgets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing reporting structures to aid in answering business goals. This role requires a strong analytical mind, being detail oriented, and has passion about using data to solve business problems.


This person will be the source of truth for Media Data & Analytics across all brands (Aquaphor, Eucerin, NIVEA, and Coppertone). While standard reporting is part of base expectations, the role is expected to conduct deep-dive analyses, uncover the "why" behind the numbers, and provide the data-driven insights that guide our marketing and communication strategies.


Critical optimizations will be in tandem with the respective Media and Social Managers and is informed by robust data and a deep understanding of performance drivers. Being curious, detail-oriented, and highly analytical individual who is passionate about using data to solve business problems is core expectation. The Data & Analytics Manager will work as part of the Integrated Communications Team and collaborate with the Brand Teams, eCom Teams, and Agency Network to produce best-in-class reporting solutions.


The successful candidate is self-motivated, high energy, outgoing, curious and eager to strive for excellence. We operate in a lean and matrixed organization across Global, Regional, and Local (US) which promotes cross-functional collaboration and teamwork. This role reports into the Media Director and is based in Stamford, CT on a hybrid working model, so you must be able to commute to Stamford three times per week.



Key Responsibilities



  • Integrated Media Reporting: Develop and execute a comprehensive performance strategy tailored for the U.S. market, focusing on driving reach and engagement. This strategy should be in consideration of a full-funnel approach, ensuring that marketing efforts effectively reach and engage consumers at every stage of their journey in collaboration with other functional leads. Ability to develop solutions within the media ecosystem including Digital Brand Media and Influencer.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Brand, eCom, Consumer Experience teams to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives and campaign goals. Facilitate regular meetings to share insights and updates, ensuring that all teams are informed and engaged in the execution of holistic media strategies.



Reporting



  • Performance Management and Optimization: Manages agency reporting across all media including performance against KPIs established in tactical plans. Collaborate with internal teams to understand how each media tactic drives results.
  • Integrate Cross-Agency Dashboards: Consider all built and under-developed dashboards when determining the optimal way to integrate and optimize learnings across the full ecosystem.
  • KPI Definition and Monitoring: Comprehend defined measurement plans across measuring core KPIs and diagnostic metrics for all campaigns with connections to business results and strong media outcomes. Regularly monitor performance against these metrics and adjust strategies as needed to achieve targets.
  • Test & Learn: Verify validity of measuring against specific Test & Learn structures while working with the agency to develop a response and future guidance within future planning cycles.

Your Profile

  • BS/BA in relevant field
  • Minimum of 7-12 years of related work experience (digital agency and/or within fast-paced CPG, Beauty, or Health and Wellness verticals)
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, the ability to take initiative and set priorities, and to work independently and in cooperation with others to lead and motivate peers
  • Experience going in Social platforms directly to pull metrics as needed
  • Understanding of how dashboards are built on the back-end to ensure proper front-end expression and visualization to meet standards
  • Strong understanding of media analytics, platforms, and KPIs
  • Project Management experience. Ability to manage project scope, stakeholders, and schedule
  • Knowledge on how to create visualizations on platforms like Power BI or Tableau
  • Detail oriented with ability to perform deep dive analysis
  • Proficiency in data validation
  • Involvement as a team member on similar projects and initiatives.
  • Beneficial to have experience working with an international company
  • Advantageous to be a thoughtful media savvy individual familiar with upcoming trends
