A Day In The Life
The Manager, Accounting under the leadership of the Sr. Manager, Corporate Accounting, leads the day-to-day operations of the general accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policy. This role oversees month-end close processes including financial statement preparation and analysis, manages key accounting areas-including intercompany transactions, prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, and asset leasing-and drives efficiency through the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of financial systems such as AX, D365, and OneStream. The Manager also supervises and develops accounting staff, promoting operational excellence and continuous improvement across the accounting function.

As a Manager, Accounting you will:

  • Lead and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for affiliated companies.
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze financial results, variances, and trends to provide insight to management.
  • Oversee accounting for prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, and leased assets, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Manage and review intercompany transactions, allocations, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain documentation to support journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Serve as functional lead for AX/D365 General Ledger administration and integration with submodules.
  • Support implementation and continuous improvement of financial systems, including AX/D365and OneStream for reporting and consolidation.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to automate and streamline accounting processes.
  • Supervise and develop accounting staff, providing coaching, feedback, and professional growth opportunities.
  • Lead performance management, workload planning, and cross-functional collaboration initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with tax and audit teams to provide schedules and documentation.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree Req
  • 8+ years' experience with management or highly technical role. Required
  • Advanced knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 and OneStream (or similar financial systems).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with proven ability to manage teams and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP and internal reporting standards.

Physical and Environmental RequirementsThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the work day and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

Travel Requirements
10% The associate is occasionally required to travel to other sites, including out-of-state, where applicable, for business.
