Description

Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound freight in compliance with company policies and customer requirements.
  • Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor team performance to achieve operational goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure stock integrity.
  • Oversee loading and unloading operations, ensuring proper handling of goods and adherence to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with transportation teams, customer service, and other departments to resolve operational issues and ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Monitor workflow and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, customer-specific SOPs (cSOPs), and regulatory requirements.
  • Train, coach, and develop warehouse staff to maintain high performance and engagement.
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
  • Prepare and review operational reports, including productivity, accuracy, and cost metrics.
  • Handle escalations and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or service delays.
  • Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
  • Complete all required training within established timelines.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Knowledge of freight handling, inventory control, and warehouse safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Familiarity with international shipping and logistics processes is a plus.
  • Experience with cold chain or temperature-sensitive products preferred.

Pay Range: $62,475.00 - $83,300.00+ (Based on Experience)
