CMM Programmer - Quality Inspection

Location: Selma, IN

Pay: $23+ per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Staffmark is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer for a direct hire role. This role is responsible for programming CMMs, performing in-process inspections, and supporting product quality initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced with precision inspection tools, GD&T, and blueprint interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

• Program and operate CMM machines for product inspection.
• Perform quality inspections and document results according to customer and company standards.
• Apply quality system requirements (ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar) in daily tasks.
• Report non-conformances, machine issues, and other concerns to the Shop Manager.
• Provide technical support to team members as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school, vocational education, or apprenticeship preferred.
• Previous CMM programming experience required; PC-DMIS, CMM Manager, or similar software preferred.
• Competent in GD&T, drawing interpretation, math, and computer skills.
• Familiarity with PPAP, FAI, SPC, and other quality documentation.
• Proficient with other precision inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators).
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and ability to work with all levels of employees.
• Positive attitude, self-starter, and good work ethic with reliable attendance.
