Position Summary:

Reporting to the Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Sales, the Ticket Sales Account Executive is responsible for generating revenue through strategic prospecting, outreach, and relationship-building with new and existing fans. This role focuses on selling season tickets, partial plans, and group packages while providing exceptional customer service to ensure retention and long-term loyalty. The Account Executive manages all stages of the sales process - from researching leads and handling inbound inquiries to maintaining an organized database of contacts and tracking sales progression. In addition, the role plays a key part on game days and at special events, assisting with client service, building new relationships, and supporting operational needs. The ideal candidate brings creativity, energy, and a solutions-oriented mindset to help develop new ticket products and contribute to the growth of the overall ticketing operation.

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree sports management, business management, marketing or another related field required. At least one year of experience in sports sales or related field

Preferred

  • Previous experience with a wide variety of CRM, analytical, ticket sales, including Excel, Salesforce, Ticketmaster, Vivenu, Vozzi and Hive.

  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency with MS Excel

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated competence with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge and experience utilizing an email marketing platform (preferably Hive).

  • Ability to work well on a team and across teams is essential in this role.

  • The ability to manage several tasks and/or projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to customer service.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Strong integrity and character who shares a commitment for knowing and complying with NCAA, Conference and University rules.
