Position Description

Starting Hourly Wage: $22-$27/hour; depending on experience

Location: Everett, WA

Classification: Non-exempt

Position Overview:

The Warehouse Worker plays a critical role in supporting our commercial mechanical contracting operations by ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are received, stored, and distributed accurately and efficiently. This position helps maintain a well-organized and safe warehouse environment to support field teams and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming tools, materials and equipment for accuracy and quality.
  2. Accurately pick, stage, and prepare tools, materials and equipment for scheduled deliveries to job sites.
  3. Maintain up-to-date inventory records using warehouse management systems or manual logs.
  4. Organize warehouse stock in a logical and accessible manner to support efficient operations.
  5. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  6. Assist with warehouse layout planning and optimize space utilization based on changing project needs.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  1. Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
  2. Support tool tracking efforts, including checking tools in/out to field staff and maintaining usage records.
  3. Assist with packing and organizing materials for long-term storage or off-site staging.
  4. Participate in warehouse safety meetings and contribute to hazard identification and mitigation.
  5. Help with minor facility maintenance tasks or fleet management and maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas.
Position Requirements

Required Skills and Abilities:

  1. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  2. Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed).
  3. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet throughout the shift.

Supervisory Responsibility:

  1. None

Preferred Education/Experience:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. 1+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or construction environment preferred.

Required Licensing and Other Certifications:

  1. Maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
