Duties:

**U.S. Citizenship only, no dual citizenship**

**Secret Clearance role - clearance required to start**

Provide Reliability Engineering analyses on a wide variety of programs and help influence the design. This includes defining the proper level of reliability scope for each program, helping identify associated risks, fully understanding customer requirements and expectations.

Performing Reliability Engineering as early in the program life cycle as possible, efficiently completing reliability efforts within budget and schedule, and communicating progress and results effectively and efficiently.

Skills:

Required Skills: 5 years' experience in reliability engineering with DOD contracts.

Desired Skills: Experience in Solid Rocket Motors and Reliasoft or Relex software. Prior experience in Systems Safety.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.

*Develop reliability and safety models/analyses for various systems and communicate results to company engineers and managers. This includes FMECAs (Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analyses), reliability predictions, subsystem hazard analyses, and range safety assessments.

*Provide design input to improve product reliability and product safety when necessary; interacting with a wide variety of individuals and teams to communicate results.

*Design reliability test plans to qualify new product and processes, evaluate test anomalies, and ensure consistent adherence to high quality standards by application of reliability techniques.

*Drive program compliance to Reliability and System Safety procedures and standard work.

*Perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments.

*Lead fault tree assessments related to product anomalies.
