Genisys Credit Union, a dynamic and growing $6.1 billion financial institution, is seeking an exceptional VP of Consumer & Business Lending to serve as a key architect of our credit union's financial future. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll oversee a broad and diverse portfolio including business lending, consumer lending, and asset recovery/collections-ensuring continued growth, risk management, and member service excellence.

As the VP of Consumer & Business Lending, you will lead a diverse team of leaders to ensure our portfolio is diverse, our risk is managed, and our growth is sustainable.

• Strategic Architect: Develop and execute lending strategies that align with our long-term growth targets and market conditions.

• Operational Powerhouse: Oversee the day-to-day lifecycle of Business/Commercial Lending, Consumer Growth & Underwriting, and Indirect Lending programs.

• Risk & Compliance Guardian: Maintain high-quality underwriting standards and ensure we stay ahead of federal and state regulatory changes.

• Relationship Builder: Manage high-value partnerships with auto dealers, business borrowers, and fintech platforms to expand our reach.

• Team Mentor: Lead, inspire, and develop a multi-disciplinary team, fostering a culture of accountability and member-centric service.

• Recovery Specialist: Oversee collections and asset recovery to minimize losses while maintaining empathy and a member-focused approach.

• An Experienced Executive: You have at least 10 years of lending experience in a financial institution, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.

• A Financial Expert: You hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business and have a deep understanding of business loans, credit analysis, and delinquency management.

• A Modern Leader: You are tech-savvy and stay current on industry trends, from digital loan origination and automation, to new ways to underwrite loans.

• A Problem Solver: You have the "big picture" vision to set a budget but aren't afraid to dive into the details to resolve a member complaint or refine an underwriting policy.
