Hydraulic Technician - Keep Heavy Machinery Moving in Hamilton, OH

Join an established service facility in the Hamilton area that specializes in heavy-duty hydraulic systems and mobile equipment repair. This is your chance to step into a non-entry-level role where precision, mechanical aptitude, and hands-on skills are essential to success.

Hours & Pay

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:30 PM

Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on experience)

Employment Type: Direct Hire

What You'll Do



  • Disassemble hydraulic rod cylinders of all types, inspect, and measure dimensions.
  • Diagnose repair needs and procure the correct parts for reassembly.
  • Assemble cylinders and test systems; operate micro-finishing and honing machines for precision work.
  • Remove and install hydraulic components from vehicles and equipment.
  • Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools for accurate measurements.
  • Maintain repair orders, parts usage logs, labor time records, and use computer systems for documentation.
  • Perform daily housekeeping of tools, materials, and workspace to ensure a safe, efficient environment.
  • Assist in other shop or field assignments as needed.



What You'll Bring



  • 2-3 years of experience repairing or maintaining hydraulic components (3-5 years preferred for senior roles).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hydraulic maintenance and repair.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, squat, climb, and work in tight or awkward environments.
  • Comfortable driving service vehicles on occasion and proficient in using computers for record-keeping.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal and external customers.
  • Valid driver's license, legal eligibility to work in the U.S., and ability to pass pre-employment testing.
