Workshop Helper - Specialty Rental - Delanco, NJ

As a Workshop Helper, you'll support our Steam Operations team by assisting mechanics, handling tools and equipment, and keeping our workshop clean, organized and running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Transport tools, parts, and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with cutting, fitting, cleaning, and prepping equipment.
• Support boiler cleaning and painting prep tasks.
• Regularly clean and organize tools, equipment, and work areas throughout the shift.
• Perform other hands-on workshop duties as needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (technical or trade school training preferred).
• Some mechanical/industrial or hand tool experience preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and commitment to following all safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in industrial conditions (heat, standing, bending, kneeling).
• Able to navigate mobile apps to clock in/out, manage work emails, and stay connected with colleagues via Teams, Salesforce experience a plus.
