Production Worker

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• Place products in/on equipment or work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping
• Load/unload items from machines or conveyors
• Assist in the care of machines by adding coolant and lubricating parts
• Help start machines or equipment to begin production processes
• Support production workers by performing duties such as supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment
• Perform housekeeping activities to keep the shop area and equipment clean and coordinated

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within a manufacturing environment is preferred
• An understanding of specific and general safety policies and procedures as related to the plant and the position is preferred
• Ability to stand and use hands to handle material over 2/3 of the time, and lift items weighing an average of 50 lbs
• Capacity to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
