Qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years cooking experience in upscale, high-volume hotel or freestanding restaurant preferred.

• Culinary experience required.

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of Food Service Sanitation Standards required.

• Strong organizational skills required.

• Excellent Guest Service skills required.

• Ability to stand, stoop, bend and lift items weighting up to 50 pounds repetitively required.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members, leaders and guests required.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities:

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of Food Service Sanitation Standards.

• Ability to stand, stoop, bend; lift and carry up to 35 pounds.

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of standard kitchen equipment and its use, such as fryer, grill, saute and broiler.

• Follows standardized recipes in the preparation and cooking of menu items

• Uses knives, slicers, mixers, choppers, grinders and all other equipment in a safe manner according to the manufacture's recommendations.

• Other duties as assigned.
