Are you looking to begin a career in science, research, or food production? Join our R&D team as a Technician I, where you'll get hands-on experience working with real products, real equipment, and a team that's excited to help you grow.

What You'll Do

As an R&D Technician, you'll support our scientists and researchers as we develop new pet food and flavor products. You don't need years of experience-just a willingness to learn, work hard, and be part of a collaborative team.

Your day-to-day work may include:

• Setting up and operating basic food processing equipment (we'll train you!)
• Preparing pet food samples for testing
• Weighing and measuring ingredients
• Assisting with simple flavor or product prep
• Keeping equipment and workspace clean, safe, and organized
• Recording data and monitoring equipment using electronic logs
• Rotating through different tasks and learning new skills across the lab

What We're Looking For

This is a great role for someone starting out, switching careers, or looking to build hands-on technical experience.

You may be a great fit if you:

• Are detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable following step-by-step instructions
• Can do basic math (ratios, percentages) and simple data entry
• Are familiar with MS Word and Excel
• Are willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for periods of time
• Enjoy working in a team environment and communicating with coworkers
• Want to learn new equipment, safety practices, and lab procedure
• A background in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field, or 2+ years of hands-on lab/production experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

No specialized lab experience? No problem. We provide on-the-job training and support to help you feel confident in the role.

Work Environment

• Standing, walking, and working with equipment
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Use of PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, etc.)
• Working around food-processing machinery
