Job Details: The Johns Hopkins Hospital Surgical Progressive Care Unit is a 32-bed general surgical unit. The unit offers three levels of care: Floor, Telemetry, and Intermediate Medical Care (IMC). Services provided: IMCpatient arrythmia management, BiPAP/CPAP, bedside bronchoscopy,Thoracicsurgery (lung resections, pneumonectomy, esophagectomy),Trauma,Urology (RRP, TURP), and variety of other general surgery patients. The Registered Nurse Lead (RN) will help lead different initiatives and support the Nurse Manager in the day-to-day operations of the unit, provide resources to staff and help provide patient care. This role is vital in ensuring the unit runs smoothly. Qualifications:

Salary Range: Minimum $47.96/hour - Maximum $74.34/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
