We are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and brand-obsessed Senior Director, Employee Engagement & Marketing to lead and elevate how we drive employee awareness, enrollment, and usage of employer-sponsored Bright Horizons benefits. This role leads B2B2C marketing-partnering with employers (B2B) while marketing directly to their employees (B2C) to increase benefit adoption.

You will be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing integrated marketing programs that generate measurable consumer awareness, registrations, and engagement across all Bright Horizons services. This leader will oversee new client launches and build scalable engagement strategies that drive client revenue by increasing employee opt-ins and ongoing utilization.

The Senior Director will set the vision for consumer-first marketing on behalf of our clients, ensuring every employer partner has access to high-impact strategies and tools that effectively promote their Bright Horizons benefits.

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week at our headquarters in Newton, MA.

  • Provide leadership as a key decision-maker and program strategist on the CMM/CMS team.

  • Develop a new client and new program launch strategy and processes that drive client growth.

  • Partner with Client Relations team and Clients to ensure best marketing practices and help grow benefits registration and use.

  • Establish scalable best practices for client marketing requests to expand growth opportunities across the team.

  • Create and manage a marketing calendar integrating inbound and outbound efforts to deliver a consistent, impactful client and employee experience.

  • Drive employee opt-ins with actionable plans that clearly articulate benefit value to clients, employees, and internal teams.

  • Develop and lead an engaging events strategy, ensuring events drive employee engagement, consumer awareness, and measurable results.

  • Optimize benefits fair materials, event processes, and delivery for enhanced performance.

  • Collaborate across the marketing organization to continuously improve and innovate.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional marketing results.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.

  • 10+ years of marketing leadership in client marketing, sales enablement, business development, or partnerships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing strategy, budgets, execution, and outcomes for launches, conferences, and events.

  • Proven ability to design and execute integrated marketing programs that drive awareness and scale growth.

  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple moving parts and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Proficiency with marketing technology tools that support team success.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external partners to elevate campaign impact.

  • Demonstrated success crafting compelling consumer-focused campaigns that clearly communicate value to employees.

Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $136,000-$152,000. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
