Overview Qualfon, is seeking experienced Call Center Professionals who aspire to obtain an Insurance License (Personal Lines or Property & Casualty). This seasonal opportunity is part of our esteemed Pre-Licensing Training Program. Participants will receive compensation at a rate of $18 per hour during the Pre-Licensing training period. Upon successful completion of the program and passing the State Exam, candidates will be offered a full-time position as a Licensed Insurance Professional, with a pay rate of $23.50 per hour. The role is customer service focused. Pay: $18/hr during the licensing process | $22.50/hr after becoming licensed Veterans and their family members are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities What you will be doing:
* Engage with members via phone, email, and other channels to assist with quotes, new policies, billing inquiries, underwriting questions, and policy changes.
* Build rapport and trust by asking thoughtful questions, understanding member needs, and offering accurate solutions to minimize transfers and escalations.
* Process insurance transactions such as endorsements, cancellations, and coverage updates while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
* Collaborate with insurance carriers and internal teams to resolve issues and provide timely, accurate information.
* Maintain required certifications and actively pursuing opportunities to grow product knowledge and sales capabilities.
* Meet performance metrics related to service quality, responsiveness, and member satisfaction. Qualifications What Skills & Qualifications are needed:
* High School diploma or GED required; some college degree preferred.
* At least 6 months of customer service experience required (healthcare, retail, hospitality, food and service industry); some contact center experience is a plus.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and empathetic tone.
* Ability to multitask across multiple applications while maintaining focus and accuracy.
* Must have an Active Property & Casualty license or, in cases of prelicensing, must have earned a license within 60 days of hire and must be able to obtain a non-resident license in all 50 states (location-dependent for resident license).
* Typing speed of 20 WPM with 90% accuracy.
* Solid understanding of insurance compliance and regulatory standards.
* Strong research and internet skills; quick learner across various subjects
and systems.
* Basic technical troubleshooting skills and comfort with digital tools.
