Assistant Beverage Manager - MGM Grand

As an Assistant Beverage Manager at MGM Grand, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of our lounges and beverage outlets. This includes ensuring exceptional guest service, managing staff performance, maintaining inventory, and upholding safety and quality standards. You will assist with staff training and contribute to delivering a memorable guest experience while maintaining the brand's reputation for excellence.

THE DAY TO DAY:

• Oversee designated operations across various beverage outlets, aligning with the department's strategic goals and vision for excellence

• Direct a smooth, efficient, and cost-effective operation, including labor management, supervision of all aspects of services, scheduling, and inventory control

• Manage delivery and measurement of guest service consistent with the company's core service standards and brand attributes

• Offer guidance and support to beverage staff, ensuring efficient scheduling and optimal team performance

• Advise management on daily operational challenges, providing recommendations to enhance efficiency and service.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 2+ years of experience working in a food or beverage supervisory role

• Flexibility to work graveyard shifts as well as weekends and holidays

• Experience managing employees using a Collective Bargaining Agreement preferred
