Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location. Job Purpose The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing the manufacturing of electrical systems which meet and exceed customer specification standards focusing on economy, safety, quality, and sustainability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design and develop all electrical systems and products used in manufacturing of batteries and related parts. Supports effort to prepare Contract drawings and Contract specifications. Create models and prototypes of products. Research solutions and estimating costs and timescales. Interface with others on design team, mechanical engineering for pawer and packaging. Liasing with customers and contractors. Provide technical guidance and support to production personnel. Develop test plan for product quality and acceptance. Record, analyze and interpret test data, including modification and retesting products. Qualify final product or system. Prepare product documentation, writing reports and giving presentations. Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field. 5+ years of electrical engineering experience. Experience with low EMI circuit design. Experience with analog design, Charger circuits, Micro Power circuits. Must have experience in battery packing. Must possess experience in metal and plastic injection molding. Familiar with SolidWorks. Demonstrated strong teamwork with various organizations both internal and external. Effective communication skills with cross functional teams. Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, written and verbal. Ability to accurately and thoroughly document processes, procedures, and training documents. General knowledge of control systems, electrical testing, and troubleshooting.Awareness of project need and capability to work in a project environment with deadlines.
