Report all safety incidents, unsafe acts and conditions. * Loads boats and places boats into furnace * Unloads boats * Maintain temperature of furnaces with pyrometer * Maintains records of furnace temperature and furnace production * Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on furnaces * Perform other related duties as assigned Equipment Used: Personal Protective Equipment, Crane, Scale, Screeners, Scoops, Furnaces, Load/Unload Tables, Powder Bins, Pyrometer, Forklift, and Tow Motor Skills/Knowledge Required: * Must be able to read and write * Good interpersonal skills and able to work in a team environment * Basic Mathematical Skills * Record Keeping Skills Physical Requirements: * Must be able to use both hands at the same time while pushing, pulling, twisting bending, lifting, stooping, and walking * Must be able to work for long periods, while standing * Must have good eye/hand coordination with all physical movements well coordinated Job Conditions & Hazards: * Moderate Dust * Must be able to lift up to 33 pounds * Potential strains, pinch points, and lacerations * Hot Surfaces Education Guidelines: * High School Diploma or GED Experience Guidelines: * Minimum of one year experience working in a manufacturing environment Equal Opportunity Employer | |
