We have an opportunity for a Pricing Specialist to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will support the company's growth strategy and pricing processes for the Pool business. This role will be responsible for executing the pricing strategy and operations, covering both Residential and Commercial customers. Additionally, the role will assist in the development and implementation of pricing systems, processes, and guidelines to ensure the business achieves price realization goals.

You will:

  • Be a valued and integral part of our global organization, engaging with various levels of leadership.
  • Execute pricing processes and act as a business partner and liaison to the business.
  • Drive continuous improvement and drive Pricing execution processes by:
    • Developing in-depth knowledge of the company's operations, key industries, major competitors, and market trends
    • Partnering strategically with Finance, Product Management, Sales, and Marketing to drive informed insights into the business, while ensuring pricing and discount strategies align and drive profitable growth.
    • Utilizing Business Intelligence Tools (Cognos and/or PowerBI) to identify key issues, resolve price discrepancies and analyze discount strategies.
    • Performing price realization analyses to support monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting, and annual planning processes
    • Supporting the rollout of new processes and systems to improve pricing accuracy and efficiency
    • Analyzing significant variances from planned/forecasted and historical price realization in order to provide recommendations to management.
    • Become proficient in Pentair's ERP systems and reporting software.
    • Support Leadership with analysis of various ad-hoc projects; growth initiatives, portfolio management (product/customer), rebate/discount programs, etc.
  • Support our ongoing ERP transition from QAD to SAP S/4HANA.
  • Help standardize and improve key processes and reporting for our Pricing team and overall organization in a culture that fosters respect and teamwork, positive energy, customer first, absolute integrity, innovation and adaptability, and accountability for performance.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 3+ years of experience in Pricing, Finance, Sales, or similar field
  • Have experience in B2B environments.
  • Have strong analytical abilities with the ability to summarize and report out in an easily understood format to all levels of management.
  • Have high attention to detail and the ability to summarize and reconcile large quantities of data.
  • Have strong communication skills with people at various levels of the organization.
  • Have the ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high standard of quality.
  • Work well on team projects with Business Leadership, Finance and Operational personnel.
  • Work well independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Have strong PC skills with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Have experience with ERP systems (SAP, QAD or similar systems)

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $61,200- $113,600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as an annual incentive bonus.
