Acquisition Program Analyst, Advanced Weapons & Electronic Warfare- SME
Clearance: TS/SCI Hybrid - approximately 4-5 days onsite at the Pentagon NIS is looking to fill a position on our STAQSS II contract that supports the Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition (SAF/AQ). The objective is to provide specialized expertise to complement the organization's inherent resources for effective and efficient mission accomplishment and continuity, introduction of innovation, and enhancement of technical competence. SAF/AQP - Global Power Programs Directorate Directs, plans, and programs for development, procurement, and product support of $10B portfolio of global power programs. The portfolio includes legacy fighters, fifth-generation aircraft, as well as sixth generation aircraft programs. It encompasses the entirety of the DAF munitions procurements to include weapons currently used in Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR) such as Joint Directed Attack Munition (JDAM), Small Diameter Bomb (SDB), and Hellfire missiles. Finally, the Global Power portfolio captures the DAF investments in the nuclear triad to include the legacy and modernized of the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and Cruise Missile programs. The portfolio is increasingly vital cross-cutting Air Force Global Power priorities such as Nuclear Command Control & Communications, Operational Imperatives, and emerging Air Force kinetic priorities. This position provides critical PEM support for programs of record (PoR) across the AQP portfolio and directly support Headquarters-level actions regarding the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile/Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (JASSM/LRASM), High-speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM)/ HARM Targeting System (HTS), Stand-in Attack Weapon/Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile - Extended Range (SIAW/AARGM-ER), Future Advanced Weapons Analysis Program. The tasks for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Work Experience Substitutions: 12 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a MA/MS degree. BA/BS degree plus 8 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a MA/MS degree.
