Logistics Operations Specialist (Manufacturing & Clinical Operations)
Hybrid: Cambridge, MA (2 days per week)
Travel: 5 - 10% travel to Norton, MA & Pepperell, MA (maybe once a quarter)
Start: 1/27/2025
End date: 2/2026
Pay rate: $40 - $45.00 per hour (depending on experience)

***This position is more on the customer relationship side, less on the system side. Excellent communication skills is required.

***Expertise with GMP and a minimum of 2 years' experience in in Logistics, Inventory Control, Material Management or Supply Chain.

Other Experience &Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating inbound, outbound shipment requests, transportation and warehouse activities for logistics operations
  • Collaborating with manufacturing organizations and external warehouse partners to execute shipments from request to receipt
  • Knowledge of US Customs Regulations, and import/export procedures (international shipping)
  • Partnering with materials management, manufacturing and trade compliance teams to ensure materials are appropriately moved, stored and maintained in an SAP System
  • Scheduling and coordinating shipments with carriers or partners with external partners to arrange shipments of materials.
  • Monitors shipments in route and ensures compliance arrival at its destination.
  • Works with respective sending and receiving sites logistics teams to execute material movements as assigned.
  • Collects and maintains temperature data from shipments per SOPs.
  • Ensures management and quality assurance team is alerted in cases of excursions.
  • Works with Trade Compliance to ensure import/export documentation is in place for international shipments.
  • Supports cycle count and inventory adjustment activities for external warehouses, where requested.
  • Manages SAP transactions (STO process) aligned with material movements.
  • Manages documentation for shipments, including packing lists, delivery notes, temperature data.

  • Adherence to SOPs for GDP and GMP related transport activities.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate with vendors globally.
  • Able to communicate with various levels of the organization and develop successful working relationships.



Technologies needed: Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat and SAP or equivalent is a huge plus

Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree a plus in business, logistics, supply chain or related discipline.

Estimated Min Rate: $40.00
Estimated Max Rate: $45.00
