Telecom Field Technician II Category: Information & Communication Technology Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-381278 Yoh has an immediate, 6-month contract ( possiblity of extension ) opportunity as a Telecom Field Technician II to join our client, in the area of Waterville/Augusta/Bangor, Maine. You will be tasked with network triage and alarm assessments, completing cell site PMs and resolving network outages Monday thru Friday , 40 hours a week, OT as necessary Max Pay Rate: $38-42/hr. Background and Drug Testing Required Exp working at T-Mobile, Sprint, Ericsson or Metro PCS preferred What You Will Be Doing 3 years relevant experience required. Responsible for staying current in technical theory, application, and operational discipline. Takes on technical and project-related efforts, providing communication as directed. Who You Are HS Diploma/GED Required 3+ years relevant exp of solid understanding of theory and application related to project management, radio access networks, backhaul to sites, signaling, disaster recovery planning and response, data services, and location-based services Basic understanding of theory and application related to network design, capacity planning, power systems AC/DC, and grounding Excellent Communication, Time management & Problem solving skills Experience with Ericsson and Nokia HW, Fiber, and Ethernet Technology Requirements (I.E Programs, systems, etc) Familiar with Ericsson cell site hardware-BB6630, BB6648, BB6651. Ericsson 6102, 6160, B160 cabinets Cell site routing - SAR-M SAS MXP, SAS Basic electrical with AC and DC power Estimated Min Rate: $27.10 Estimated Max Rate: $38.71 Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
