Lundbeck US is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and highly experienced individual for the position of Senior Manager Enterprise Data Strategy. This individual will have primary responsibility of the data strategy that is aligned with business goals driven by portfolio strategic priorities. This individual will also be responsible to identify and leverage opportunities to utilize data for innovation and growth across Lundbeck US.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Implement and Support enterprise data strategy aligned to the brand and portfolio strategic priorities and seamlessly integrate data strategy into the overall business strategy.
  • Manage Data Governance Council and meetings.
  • Manage Data Asset Inventory & Metadata, Business Rules & Processes, Legal/Compliance regulations for various data sources. Activities involved are (but not limited to)

    • Supporting the changes in the documentation like Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Process Flow, etc. for new data onboarding or changes to existing dataset
    • Discuss the changes with Legal/Compliance team (whenever required) to ensure data within platform is compliant
    • Explaining these changes to Data/IT team so that they can implement the changes in Data Management platform.
    • Test the changes implement by Data/IT team to ensure that they are aligned with provided requirements in FRD


  • Manage and contribute on the IC Cutover activities. These include (but not limited to) supporting changes related to-

    • Addition of new Brand and/or Indication and/or Salesforce
    • IC Inclusion/Exclusion rules like Specialty, Age Groups, Subcats, etc.
    • Demand Sales Calculation process
    • Market Basket Definition


  • Partner with internal IT team to design, implement, and optimize data architectures to meet business needs and priorities.
  • Manage a robust data quality management system to ensure data integrity and single source of truth across all data assets!
  • Partner with compliance team to ensure data privacy regulations are followed according to industry standards.
  • Partner with multiple functional teams like brand, analytics, patient services, etc. to define new and changes in business rules/processes.
  • Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure effective communication of data-related issues, challenges, and initiatives across the organization.
  • Perform Data Analysis, and Data Gap Findings
  • Generate Insights for business teams by developing Report/Dashboards
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement and encourage knowledge sharing and professional development within the team.
  • Supervision of vendor resources on their day to day tasks



REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS:



  • Accredited bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in quantitative focused positions demonstrating continuous career progression in strategy and implementation roles.
  • 5+ years in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries or working as a consultant for a pharmaceutical or biotech company.
  • Experience of working on 3rd Party Demand/Sales/Claims datasets like IQVIA Xponent Plantrak, IQVIA DDD, IQVIA NPA, IQVIA NSP, IQVIA LAAD, IQVIA SOB etc.
  • Experience of working on Internal Commercial datasets like Roster, Alignment, Sales Hierarchy, Call Plan, Segmentation, Forecasts, etc.
  • Experience of working on CRM data like Veeva Calls, Veeva CLM, Veeva Events, etc.
  • Experience of working on business processes like Inclusion/Exclusion, Factorization, etc.
  • Experience in performing Data Analysis, and writing SQL Data Queries
  • Demonstrated project management skills in a team setting, especially in situations where team members are not direct reports.
  • Deep expertise in of pharma market data, vendors, technology platforms and best practices
  • Proficient in various patient-level data as well as other syndicated patient data sources
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking, with ability to connect the dots to understand all the interdependency and big picture and translate strategy and analysis to a tactical, executable solutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrated through presentation and with the ability to simplify complex matters and communicate with all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster enterprise-wide innovation and transformation through thought leadership, exemplary written and interpersonal communication skill.
  • Ability to lead collaboration without direct authority and navigate in ambiguous environment and agility to adapt changing priorities of the organization.
  • Able to identify best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.



PREFERREDEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS:



  • Accredited bachelor's degree in quantitative field
  • Experience of working on Patient related datasets like Patient HUBs, Specialty Pharmacy, Specialty Distributor, Infusion Networks, Specialty Aggregators, etc.
  • Experience of working on IC related datasets like Credited Sales, Goal Setting, etc.
  • Experience in generating insights by create reports/Dashboards



Travel:



  • Willingness/Ability to travel up to 20% domestically. International travel may be required.



The range displayed is a national range, and if selected for this role, may vary based on various factors such as the candidate's geographical location, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Salary Pay Range: $155,000 - $185,000 and eligibility for a 15% bonus target based on company and individual performance, and eligibility to participate in the company's long-term incentive plan.
