Job Title: Information/Cyber Security Director
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of technology and information systems.
  • Lead the creation and upkeep of Incident Response Plans and Cybersecurity procedures for IT.
  • Stay updated on the latest in cybersecurity, digital privacy regulations, and standards across all regions.
  • Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats.
  • Oversee the architecture, design, implementation, and support of enterprise-class security systems based on CIS controls and related standards.
  • Design security architecture elements to mitigate emerging threats.
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs and discuss potential security and privacy solutions.
  • Conduct and analyze security assessments, including program reviews, penetration testing, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis, providing recommendations based on findings.
  • Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cybersecurity needs.
  • Review and recommend security configurations and policies for firewalls, VPN systems, routers, IDS scanning technologies, servers, computers, mobile devices, A/V devices, IoT, and IT systems.
  • Ensure project integration and adjust scope, timing, and budgets as needed based on organizational needs.
  • Analyze system logs, security tools, and network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity, and recommend actions to restore secure operations.
  • Test and review new security software, tools, and technologies for operational applicability.
  • Conduct ongoing interviews and assessments with internal groups and management to understand technology interactions and integrate cybersecurity measures.
  • Collaborate with internal auditing, legal, and IT teams to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry requirements (e.g., FERPA, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, FIPS, NIST, CISA, ISO 27001).
  • Work with Senior Leadership to develop a strategic technology plan that aligns with business objectives and budget considerations.
  • Oversee annual operating and capital budgets for all security platforms and hardware.
  • Manage suppliers and vendors for information and cybersecurity.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in information security and cybersecurity management.
  • Practical experience in Red, Blue, and Purple INFOSEC tasks and roles.
  • Experience deploying and managing cybersecurity, digital privacy, and information security solutions for remote access, identity access management, and cloud-based services.
  • Experience leading ITIL V4 based processes (incident, change, problem, root cause analysis).



Preferred Credentials:

  • CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional
  • GSLC - GIAC Security Leadership
  • CISM - Certified Information Security Manager
  • CCSP - Certified Cloud Security Professional
  • SCI/SAP L Clearance
  • SCI/SAP Q Clearance
  • Completed & Cleared DCSA Background


Estimated Min Rate: $150000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $220000.00
