Could you be the full-time onsite Supplier Quality Engineer in Plattsburgh, NY, US we're looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your quality assurance and engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dedicated, collaborative, and results-driven teammates. You'll ensure the highest standards of supplier quality and performance, contributing significantly to our Serial Supplier Quality Assurance policy. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Procurement, Production, Supply Chain), manage Non-Conformity Reports and Incoming Inspection activities, and much more.

We'll look to you for:




  • Applying and deploying Serial Supplier Quality Assurance policy in collaboration with Procurement,



  • Managing day-to-day Non-Conformity Report (NCR) operations and ensuring quick communication with suppliers,



  • Setting up action plans to meet NCR targets and invoicing the Cost Of Non-Quality (CONQ S1) to suppliers,



  • Managing Supplier waiver requests and containment actions for your assigned scope and suppliers,



  • Securing supplier containment actions to safeguard the manufacturing line and challenging suppliers for corrective measures,



  • Developing and managing Supplier improvement roadmaps for non-performing suppliers.

  • Bachelor's degree in the Engineering field (Mechanical, Welding, Electrical, etc.),



  • Knowledge of technical fields related to manufacturing, quality and production,



  • Familiarity with supplier qualifications standards (ISO, ASME, IRIS, Local Standards, etc.),



  • Proficiency in 8D Methodology / Problem solving methodology,



  • Experience using SAP or similar computer applications,



  • Persuasive and resilient mindset,



  • Experience managing supplier relationships is a plus.

Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000
