Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Project Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of high impact projects involving large scale real world healthcare data. The Research Project Manager will be part of a dynamic cutting edge team working with EHR data from the Veterans Health Administration VHA and the NYU Langone Hospitals Network. The PRISM team is an independent federally funded research group focusing on understanding how inflammation and senescence influence human health and aging. We leverage advanced analytics machine learning and causal inference methods to study healthcare outcomes in U S Veterans and the general population. Our research spans various domains including oncology psychiatry COVID 19 and Alzheimers disease. The Research Project Manager will be part of a team with access to unprecedented healthcare data resources that enable impactful research and real world applications. The PRISM team is dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters professional growth and collaboration. The Research Project Manager will oversee the management and coordination of multiple ongoing interdisciplinary biomedical research projects These projects often involve distinct medical experts analytics teams external advisors collaborators and unique timelines. The Research Project Manager will lead the team by assembling project teams assigning responsibilities managing resources and facilitating stakeholder communication. The Research Project Manager will develop agendas and workflows for project meetings ensuring that timelines are adhered to and implement change management strategies when needed. Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree in a related medical field (biomedical sciences, public health, psychology, data sciences, engineering, or related areas). 5 years of experience in project management or process coordination in either an academic/biomedical research setting or private sector/corporate Demonstrated experience managing large complex projects from conceptualization to completion Strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and adapt to changing project scopes Excellent interpersonal skills capable of facilitating collaboration and communication across diverse research teams and stakeholders Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate across a wide range of projects A proactive and action oriented leader Able to thrive in an environment that requires creative problem solving anticipation and strategic thinking Preferred Qualifications: Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 - $97,772.87 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
