About the role

Provide Level 1 & 2 internal support for software platforms such as Yardi Systems, Rent Cafe, Entrata and ancillary programs. Primary support provided to the property and corporate end-users. Identify basic user errors, troubleshoot data and system issue, and interface with software provider support staff.

What you'll be doing



  • Level 1 Support - Identify user error and provide instruction on how to correct the issue.
  • Level 2 Support - Troubleshoot issue, identify if there is a solution or if it is a software issue.
  • Submit program issues/bugs to the software provider.
  • Utilize Help Desk support management software.
  • Provide one-on-one training to end users as needed.
  • Occasional on-site travel property training.
  • Recognize operational challenges and provide recommendations to create efficiency.
  • Provide new user access, password changes, and termination of user access.
  • Performs testing of software upgrades.
  • Perform setup and testing of new functionality
  • Create guides and perform training for new functionality.


Typical Physical Demands: Regularly uses hands to manipulate phones, computer keyboard and similar tools. Ability to view computer screens, mobile devices, and other electronic equipment, for extended periods of time. Sit and stand to perform administrative work. Regularly lift and move office supplies up to 20 lbs. Work is performed in an office environment. Employee must travel throughout the company footprint as required.

Work is performed in an office. Employee frequently interacts directly with community management, facilities management, residents, and other staff members during the workday.

Who we're looking for



  • Associate degree in a technical discipline or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a level 1 or 2 software support role
  • Proficient in Yardi Systems, Rent Cafe, Entrata and ancillary product programs/interfaces
  • Must have the ability to learn new software systems quickly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to perform project management
  • Ability to effectively work within a decentralized / highly autonomous business model.
  • Proven track record in delivering change within a complex business.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and relationship building
  • Customer focus on service and excellence.
  • Attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Results driven / solutions provider.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (credibility with senior management and sustainability practitioners alike).

  • Possession of a valid state issues driver's license and safe driving record are required
