Shipping Operator I

The Shipping Operator will:

• Thoroughly and accurately complete all assigned work including picking stocks and weighing out batches, loading and unloading lorries, packing orders, taking samples, and locating and picking stock in a safe/productive/quality/accountable manner and ensures associated stock accuracy where applicable during the shift.
• Perform assigned work picking and weighing out materials, following GMP/AIB/ISO guidelines and accurately perform RF Scanner and SAP Transactions.
• Report to the shift leader or supervisor and learn new skills to stay current with the needs of the position in a changing environment.
• Have great computer skills, GSCE (A-C) or equivalent, and a fork lift truck licensed (preferred).
• Will have a great experience in a food/chemical production environment.
  

Required Skills:

• Current Forklift License Preferred, but not required. Forklift Experience is a plus
• High-School Diploma or Equivalent
• GCSE (A-C) or equivalent
• Strong background in computerized stores (SAP) and Microsoft Office suite
• Proficient in Dispatch, Inwards Goods, Stock Control, Pallet control and wrapping
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent problem solving skills and numeracy skills
• Enthusiastic team player
• Results orientated and high attention to detail
• Experience as an operator in a food/chemical manufacturing environment preferred
