POSITION TITLE

Senior Talent Development Specialist (Training)

POSITION OVERVIEW

This hybrid position, located in Spartanburg, SC, is responsible for developing and implementing a variety of training and leadership development programs. This hands-on role will provide an opportunity to showcase your training facilitation skills, project management aptitude, instructional design knowledge, and desire to learn.This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking continued growth in training and development, talent management, and corporate learning. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the development and management of a variety of employee engagement and leadership development programs.
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training classes on a variety of topics, from communication to leadership to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
  • Create and manage instructor-led training classes within Milliken's learning management system (LMS).
  • Create and maintain project plans, designing accountabilities for key team members and stakeholders to align resources.
  • Research trends and benchmark industry best practices to recommend innovative solutions to learning and development needs.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 3+ years of experience in corporate training, learning and development, or instructional design
  • Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills; advanced PowerPoint skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to confidently facilitate training for all levels of employees, from entry-level to executive
  • Experience designing and developing corporate or leadership training classes and programs
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, change direction often, and quickly tackle new projects
  • Strong attention to detail and self-initiative, personal accountability, and follow-through
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, timelines, progress, and deliverables
  • The desire to help cultivate and engage a diverse and inclusive workplace through training and project work
  • A positive attitude and ability to collaborate and work effectively and efficiently with cross-functional teams and leaders

The successful candidate will demonstrate strengths in the following:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience designing e-learning using Articulate or similar software
  • Experience using a learning management system (LMS)
