Job Summary:

The Regional Finance Director is a key driver in shaping the financial performance and strategic decision-making within ArchWell Health, a growing PE-backed Healthcare Services Company. This position oversees analysis and reporting for a specific region within the company's operations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this role provides critical insights and recommendations to senior corporate leadership and field leadership, playing a significant role in optimizing financial outcomes and supporting growth initiatives, and thereby, influencing the company's strategic direction.

Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Business Partnering:


    • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, offering financial expertise and insights to inform strategic direction and decision-making.
    • Collaborate with regional operating and medical leadership to understand business dynamics, operational challenges, and opportunities for performance improvement.
    • Provide financial guidance and support to leaders to optimize resource allocation and drive profitability.


  • Strategic Analysis:


    • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and presentations to evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives, medical economics trends, and potential acquisitions within the region.
    • Analyze underlying drivers of financial results across health plan contracts and population cohorts and devise adjustments to improve performance
    • Drive strategic decision making through an in-depth understanding of company cost structure, industry trends, market dynamics and internal key indicators


  • Liaison between Corporate Finance and Regional Leadership:


    • Collaborate with FP&A on the annual budgeting process for the region, collaborating with assisting operational leaders to develop comprehensive financial plans aligned with strategic objectives.
    • Monitor performance against budget and identify areas for improvement or risk mitigation.
    • Understand constituent needs/issues and develop actionable insights for various customer groups



Required Skills/Abilities:



  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear and actionable insights


  • Results-oriented change agent with demonstrated ability to develop effective cross-functional relationships


  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial management systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools).


  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement


Willingness to travel within assigned region and to Nashville HQ, up to 60%; travel lessened if residing within an assigned region

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Eight (8) years of relevant experience preferred, with a minimum requirement of three (3) years demonstrating progressive growth within finance required
  • Proven experience in healthcare finance or data analysis, preferably within a health plan or value-based care organization
